not at all, as if D. had sent R. into the forest for wickedness) ചേതസി വിചാരം
ഇല്ലായ്കയും അല്ല (ഭാര. അൎത്ഥാൽ ആലോചിച്ചിട്ടു not as if I did this in–
considerately, but on purpose).
നിമന്ത്രണാൎത്ഥത്തിൽ (Optative).
ഉ-ം കണ്ടിരുന്നീടുകയല്ല എന്നു കല്പിച്ചു (ഭാര. we must not suffer this quietly).
മരിക്കിൽ ദാഹം പൂണ്ടു മരിക്കയല്ല (ഭാര. if I must die, be it not by thirst). ഇവി
ടെ ഞാൻ കൂടയല്ല ഒന്നു കൊണ്ടും (ഭാര. on no account shall I stop here.)
വിധ്യൎത്ഥത്തിൽ (Imperative).
ശത്രുത തോന്നല്ല മാനസേ (കേ. രാ. let there be no).
ഏറിയ പഴഞ്ചോല്ലുകളിലും അവ്വണ്ണമേ (so in many proverbs).
അവ്യയമായ നടുവിനയെച്ചത്തോടു (Inf.=Adv.)
ഇപ്പോലെ അല്ലായ്കിൽ നിശ്ചയം നാശം ഉണ്ടാം (ഭാര. 715.)

777. വിനയെച്ചങ്ങളോടു ഉറ്റു ചേരും.
1. മറവിനയിൽ.
നല്ല ജനങ്ങൾ ഇല്ലാഞ്ഞല്ല ഖലസ്നേഹം ഉണ്ടായതു. (പ. ത. not from want of
good men). ഇപ്പക്ഷം അറിയാതെയല്ലവർ യുദ്ധം ചെയ്തു (കേ. രാ. they were not un–
acquainted with this contingency, when they fought). ആരുമേ അറിയാതെയല്ലിവ
ഇരിക്കുന്നു (ഭാര. not forgotten). ഒടുക്കുവാൻ മമബലം ഇല്ലാഞ്ഞല്ല (കേ. രാ. not, that
I had no strength).
2. തിട്ടമായിട്ടു: പോർ കരുതിയല്ലിവിടെ വന്നു (ഭാര.) ഭയം കരുതിയല്ല (കേ.
രാ. not from fear).
With second Adverbials പിൻവിനയെച്ചത്തോടു 582, b. ഉപ.
ഉ-ം നീ ദുഃഖിപ്പാനല്ല ഞാൻ പറഞ്ഞത് (I have said this, not that you should
grieve).
c.) After Future (chiefly ആം) —ഭാവിക്കു പിൻ (വിശേഷിച്ചു
ആം 775, 1. 671, a. b.) അത് "ആവത്" പോലെ നടക്കുന്ന പ്ര
കാരം തോന്നുന്നു.
