മേല mēla So. Cannot (either V. neg. of മേൽ
3. = ഒല്ലാ, or corruption of വേല 3. “it is diffi-
cult” = അരുതു). ഉരിയാടുവാനും മേലാ, ഓടു
വാൻ മേലാഞ്ഞു, നടപ്പാൻ മേലാതായി PT. മേ
ലായ്ക weakness.
മേൽ mēl VN. of മീ (C. മ്യേൽ = മിയ്യൽ). 1. What
is above, surface, body = മെയി, as മേലും കൈ
യും നൊന്തിട്ടു നടന്നൂട No. vu. രാവണൻ ത
