“I should very much like to be present at the Parishat and
take part in its activities in the company of the eminent scholars and literary men expected to be present there . But I regret that my helth does not permit me to undertake the journey and so I am compelled to for go the pleasure and honour of bodily associating myself with the meeting .
“But I wish the Parishat every success. I hope that it
will this year enter on a course of greater usefulness and become the guide to Malayalis in all activities connected with our language and literary arts.
