൧൬-ാം കഥ
ഒരു ഗ്രാമത്തിൽ രണ്ട് ചെറുക്കന്മാർ ഉണ്ടായിരുന്നു. അവരിൽ ഒരുവൻ വിവെകി ഒരുവൻ അവിവെകി. ഒരു നാൾ ആ ചെറുക്കന്മാർ ഒരു തൊട്ടത്തിലെക്കു പൊയി അവിടെ അവ ക്കു ഒരു തെങ്ങ കിട്ടി. വിവെകി ആയുള്ളവൻ അതിനെ ഉടച്ച ഉള്ളിൽ ഉണ്ടായിരുന്നതെല്ലാം താൻ തിന്റെ പുറത്ത് ചിരട്ട അവിവെകിയായുള്ളവന്നു കൊടുത്തു അവൻ ഒരു കഷണം വായിൽ ഇട്ടാറെ അത കല്ല പൊലെ കട്ടിയായിരുന്നു. അപ്പൊ ൾ തന്റെ സ്നേഹിതൻ തന്നെ ചതിച്ചു എന്ന അറിഞ്ഞുകൊ ണ്ടു ഇനി എപ്പൊൾ എങ്കിലും ഇങ്ങനെ തരം വന്നാൽ അവൻ ചെയു പൊല ചെയ്യണമെന്ന നിശ്ചയിച്ചു. പിന്നെ കുറയ നാൾ കഴിഞ്ഞ ശേഷം അവക്കിരുവെക്കും കൂടെ ഒരു മാങ്ങാ കിട്ടി അപ്പോൾ ആ അവിവേകിയായുള്ളവൻ മറവൻ ചെയ്യതി ന്ന പകരം ചെയ്യണമെന്ന വെച്ച ബുദ്ധിമാനായ ചെക്കനെ നൊക്കി ഇനിക്ക അകത്തെ തന്ന പുറത്തെത എല്ലാം നീയെടു ത്തൊ എന്ന് പറഞ്ഞു. അപ്പോൾ അവൻ സന്തോഷിച്ച നല്ലത എന്ന വെച്ച പുറത്തെ ദശ എല്ലാം താൻ തിന്ന ബുദ്ധിഹീനനാ യുള്ള തൻറെ കൂട്ടുന്ന അകത്തെ അണ്ടി കൊടുത്തു. അതുകൊ ണ്ട ബുദ്ധിഹീനന്മാരായുള്ളവർ ഏറയും താനെതന്നെ അബ ധം വരുത്തികൊള്ളുന്നു.
