ത്താമെന്നും എടവം ൩നു താൻ എഴുതിയ ഹൎജി നാം വായിച്ചറികയും ചെയ്തു. തന്റെ ഹൎജി പ്രകാരം ശിരസ്ഥെദാർക്ക നാം ഒരു മാസത്തെ കല്പന കൊടുത്തിരിക്കുന്നു ആയ്ത താൻ ശിരസ്ഥെദാരെ അറിയിച്ചകൊൾകയും വെണം അതും കൂടാതെ ആയാൾ മടങ്ങിവരുന്നവരെ ആയാളുടെ പണികൾ ൧ാം ഗുമാസ്ഥൻ കൊന്തിമെനൊൻ നടത്തുവാൻ നാം നിശ്ചയിച്ചിരിക്കകൊണ്ട ആയ്ത കൊന്തിമെനവനെ അറിയിച്ച ശിരസ്ഥെദാർ മടങ്ങിവരുന്നവരെയും ജാഗ്രതയായി ആയാളെക്കൊണ്ട് പണി നടത്തിക്കുകയും വെണം. മെൽപ്പറഞ്ഞ ഒരു മാസത്തിൽ അധികമായ കല്പന ശിരസ്ഥെദാർക്കു കിട്ടുകയില്ലെന്നും അവധി കഴിയുന്ന ദിവസം തന്നെ പണിയിൽ വന്ന ഹാജരാകണമെന്നും താൻ ശിരസ്ഥെദാരൊട നല്ലവണ്ണം താക്കീതി ചെയ്കയും വെണം എന്ന കൊല്ലം൧൦൨൪ാമത എടവമാസം ൧൨നു കൊഴിക്കൊട്ട ഹജൂർക്കച്ചെരിയിൽനിന്ന എഴുതിയ്ത.
I have received your Urzee dated 3rd Edavam/13th May requesting me to grant leave of absence for one month from the 25th. Instant to Ollatil Shangara Menon the Serishtadar of the Talook to enable him to celebrate a marriage at his house on the 25th of Mithoonam 7th of July next, and stating that Conty Menon the head Goomastah of the Talook can transact the duties of the Serishtadar during the absence of that individual. In accordance with your request, I grant the Serishtadar one month's leave which you will communicate to him. I also appoint the head Goomastah Conty Menon to act for the Serishtadar during his absence. You will communicate this appointment to the latter, and see that he carefully conducts the duties of the office until the return of the Serishtadar. You will inform the Seristadar that no extention of leave will be granted to him, and that he must return to his duties on the day upon which it expires.
