MATT. XXVI.

1 And it came to pass, when Jesus had finished all these say-
ings, he said unto his disciples,

2 Yo know that after two days is the feast of the passover, and
the Son of man is betrayed to be crucified.

JOHN XII.

36 . . . These things
spake Jesus and departed,
and did hide himself from
them.

b) Simultaneously: the ruler's conspiracy. പ്രമാണികൾ കുലകാൎയ്യത്തെ കൂടി നിരൂപിച്ചതു.

MATT. XXVI.

3 Then assembled together the chief
priests, and the scribes, and the elders
of the people, unto the place of the high
priest, who was called Caiaphas,

4 And consulted that they might take
Jesus by subtilty, and kill him.

5 But they said, Not on the feast
day, lest there be an uproar among the
people.

MARK XIV.

1 After two days was the feast
of the passover, and of unlea-
vened bread: and the chief
priests and the scribes sought
how they might take him by
craft, and put him to death.

2 But they said, Not on the
feast day, lest there be an up-
roar of the people.

LUKE XXII.

1 Now the feast of
unleavened bread drew
nigh, which is called the
passover.

2 And the chief
priests and scribes sought
how they might kill
him; for they feared
the people.

c) The treachery of Judas. യൂദാവിൻ ദ്രോഹനിൎണ്ണയം.

MATT. XXVI.

14 Then one of the twelve,
called Judas Iscariot, went unto
the chief priests,

15 And said unto them, What
will ye give me, and I will
deliver him unto you? And they
covenanted with him for thirty
pieces of silver.

16 And from that time he sought
opportunity to betray him.

MARK XIV.

10 And Judas Iscariot,
one of the twelve, went
unto the chief priests,
to betray him unto them.

11 And when they heard
it, they were glad, and
promised to give him
money. And he sought
how he might conveni-
ently betray him.

LUKE XXII.

3 Then entered Satan into Judas surnamed
Iscariot, being of the number of the twelve.

4 And he went his way, and communed
with the chief priests and captains, how
he might betray him unto them.

5 And they were glad, and covenanted
to give him money.

6 And he promised, and sought op-
portunity to betray him unto them in
the absence of the multitude.

d) John's review of our Lord's ministry. ഇസ്രയേലിൻറ മനഃകാഠിനത്തിൻ ഹേതുവും കൎത്തപ്രസംഗസാരവും.

JOHN XII.

37 But though he had done so many miracles
before them, yet they believed not on him:

38 That the saying of Esaias the prophet
might be fulfilled, which he spake, Lord, who
hath believed our report ? and to whom hath
the arm of the Lord been revealed ?

39 Therefore they could not believe, because
that Esaias said again,

40 He hath blinded their eyes, and hardened
their heart; that they should not see with their
eyes, nor understand with their heart, and be
converted, and I should heal them.

41 These things said Esaias, when he saw his
glory, and spake of him.

42 Nevertheless among the chief rulers also
many believed on him; but because of the
Pharisees they did not confess him, lest they
should be put out of the synagogue:

43 For they loved the praise of men more
than the praise of God.

44 Jesus cried and said, He that believeth on

me, believeth not on me, but on him that sent
me.

45 And he that seeth me seeth him that sent
me.

46 I am come a light into the world, that
whosoever believeth on me should not abide in
darkness.

47 And if any man hear my words, and
believe not, I judge him not: for I came not
to judge the world, but to save the world.

48 He that rejecteth me, and receiveth not
my words, hath one that judgeth him: the word
that I have spoken, the same shall judge him
in the last day.

49 For I have not spoken of myself; but the
Father which sent me, he gave me a command-
ment, what I should say, and what I should
speak.

50 And I know that his commandment is life
everlasting: whatsoever I speak therefore, even
as the Father said unto me, so I speak.
