Two things are essential to render a scientific treatise in the vernacular both attractive and useful: (a) Information carefully sifted and well arranged: And (b) the clothing of the information in language which is easily understandable. The author has complied with both these requirements. Although the book is mainly intended for young students, the Tamil-knowing population will find in it a storehouse of information and guidance.
