3rd STORY. A number of boys playing on day by the side of a tank, saw some frogs in it, at which they began to throw stones. Where- upon one of the frogs thus address them Oh! boys, throwing stones may be fun to you, but it is death to us.

൪-ാം കഥ. ഒരു അഗ്രഹാരത്തിൽ ഒരു ബ്രാഹ്മണൻ ഉണ്ടായിരുന്നു- അവന്ന മകൻ ഒന്നെ മാത്രം. ഒരു നാൾ അവൻ ഒരു വഴിക്ക യാത്ര പുറപ്പെട്ട ആ മകനെ കൂട്ടിക്കൊണ്ടുപോയി. വഴിയിൽ വെച്ച ആ ചെക്കൻ അച്ഛനെ വിളിച്ച ഇതാ പുലി വരുന്നു എന്ന ഉറക്കെ നിലവിളി കൂട്ടി. അച്ഛൻ തിരിഞ്ഞ നൊക്കിയാ റെ പുലി ഇല്ലായിരുന്നു. അവര പിന്നെയും കുറയ ദൂരം പൊ യപ്പൊൾ വാസ്തവമായിട്ട പുലി വന്ന ആ ചെക്കനെ പിടി ച്ചു. ആ ചെക്കൻ വീണ്ടും അച്ഛനെ വിളിച്ചു. തന്റെ കുമാരൻ മുമ്പിലത്തെ പൊലെ നെരം പൊക്ക പറയുന്നു എന്ന വിചാ
