INDEFINITE NUMERAL NOUNS.

93. What are the indefinite numeral nouns?

Certain pronominals used instead of numeral nouns.

94. Which is the principle of these indefinite numeral
nouns?

'Ellá' (= all); from this, various indefinite numeral
compound nouns are formed by the addition (as in the
case of the demonstrative and interrogative letters) of
affixes or of various nouns joined in composition. 'Um'
is added by composition as a final affix.

Ex: 'ellávarum' (= all persons), 'ellávar̥r̥eyum', 'elláṭavum'
(= all places, everywhere), (= ellá + iṭam [= place] + um),
elláypozhum (= all times) etc.

95. Are there any other indefinite numeral nouns of
universality?

Yes; 'muzhuvanum' (= the whole), 'mur̥r̥um' (= the
whole), 'sarvarum' (= all persons, every one), 'sakalarum'
(= all persons) etc.

96. Are there any indefinite numeral nouns of universa-
lity derived from the interrogative pronominals?

A great number may be made by simply adding the
affix 'um' (= soever).

Ex: 'évanum' (= whosoever, any one), 'évarum' (= every one),
'árum' (=whosoever), 'étum' (=whatsoever, any thing), 'enggum,
(wheresoever, anywhere), 'ennum' (= any day, every day),
'ennékkum' (= on what day soever, for ever).
