The ന is lost in മറ്റാൾ, അത്രാൾ, നുമ്മാൾ etc.
The temporal Dative with ഏ, as എത്ര നാളേ
ക്കു പൊറുക്കേണം ഇങ്ങനേ AR. 2. the as-
trological day & the നക്ഷത്രം that governs it
(ആൺനാ., പെൺനാ. etc.). നാളും പൊരുത്ത
വും നോക്കി നിശ്ചയിക്ക Anach. (for marriage).
അതിന്നു നാളും നേരവും ആക്കി KN. 3. time
in general. എല്ലാ നാളേക്കും Bhg. for ever. ദൈ
വം ഉളള നാൾ മറക്കുമോ Nal.; നടക്കുന്നാൾ KU.;
നന്ദൻ ഉള്ളൊരു നാൾ Mud. during N's reign.
ഡീപ്പുസുല്ത്താന്റെ നാളിൽ നടന്നപ്രകാരം TR.;
ഇപ്രാണൻ ഉളള നാളേപ്പോലേ KU. as long
as we live. ഒരു നാളുമില്ല also: not under any
circumstances.
Hence: നാള T. C. M. 1. to-morrow, also നാളെ
ക്കു, നാളേത്തിൽ ബോധിപ്പിക്കാം, നാളേത്തേൽ
വാ TR.; നാളേടം Bhr. during to-morrow. ഇ
ന്നോടു നാളയോട് എന്നേയും കൊന്നു തിന്നും
VetC. between this day & to-morrow. നാളത്തു
ടങ്ങേണം എന്നു നിനെച്ചാൽ നാളേക്കു നാള
അതിന്നില്ലൊരൊടുക്കം Anj. the day after to-
morrow. 2. നാള only not today = never!

നാഴി, which holds 8 ആഴക്കു or 40 ചവടു CS.;
or 2 ഉരി = 4 ഉഴക്കു (4444 rice grains. W.)
3. the greater measure പെരുനാഴി = ഇടങ്ങാഴി
=4 നാഴി. (നാന്നാഴി, മുന്നാഴി; see നാ —, മു —).
ഇരുനാഴിയാൽ നാഴി V1. land belonging equal-
ly to two lords. അവൻ ഇ. ആകുന്നു he is
entitled to a moiety. തച്ചമ്പാറ ഇരുന്നാഴി
നായിയായിട്ടു മുതുകുറിച്ചി നമുക്കു പ്രത്യേക
മായിട്ടുള്ളതു TR. Taččambāra belongs to
me & another Rāja, Muẟuγuričči to me
alone.
