തോര tōra l. = തുവര Sk. 2. = കൈമുണ്ടു A cloth
over the privities; also തോരൻ (which is like—
wise a cloth with colored streaks V2.); തോര
ക്കോണം a distinct kind of such (തോരുക).
തോരണം tōranam S. (തോർ) 1. A triumphal
or ornamental arch, gate—way കാഞ്ചനതോ.
എടുപ്പിച്ചു, നിവിൎത്തി etc.; തോരണദ്വാരം Nal.;
അണിത്തോ. SiPu. entranoe of the stage.
2. ornamental lines, strings of leaves & flowers
hung across the streets or over the door—way.

തോറ്റം T. M. (VN. of തോന്നുക) 1. rise (of

the sun), appearance, അവൻ ഒരു മനുജൻ

AR. to thee he seems a mere man. 2. a show,
spectacle, festivity തോ. കഴിക്ക etc. ഉണ്ടാ

തോൽ tôl T. M. Te. aC. (C. തൊഗൽ, തുകൽ
