വേൺ vēṇ 5. (desire & necessity = വേൾ,

വേണുന്നോർ ആരുമില്ലെന്നോളം CG.

ഏടുക്കേണ്ട ലക്ഷണങ്ങൾ KU. കൎമ്മങ്ങൾ വേ
ണ്ടവർ Sah. (ellipsis of ചെയ്ക) who ought to
sacrifice. — പട്ടിണി വേണ്ടതെല്ലാൎക്കും ഉണ്ടായ്വ
രും Sah. അരി ഏതാകുന്നു വേണ്ടതു? നിങ്ങൾ്ക്കു
വേണ്ടതൊക്കയും vu. എന്തു നാം വേണ്ടതു Bhr.
വേ. തു തങ്ങളിൽ ചെയ്താലും let them do to
each other what they please. അൎത്ഥവും വേ.
തു സിദ്ധിച്ചീടും BR. the desired riches. അതേ
തവ വേണ്ടതുള്ളു Anj. thy duty; the right (opp.
വേണ്ടാത്തതു wrong) Bhg.
വേണ്ടതില്ല is of no consequence, does not
matter (വേണ്ടുവതില്ല KU. & വേണ്ടില്ല V1.)
അതിന്നു വേ. vu. വേ. അതുകൊണ്ടു Mud.
never mind. Treated adverbially മൂന്നുരു
ചോദിച്ചതിന്നവൻ മിണ്ടാതിരിക്കിൽ ആരെ
ങ്കിലും വേ. കൊന്നീടേണം VetC. അവന്ന്
അല്പം വേ. he is pretty well, (also = is pretty
well off). Also polite request അയച്ചാലും വേ.
TR. it might be well to send; or question
(വെച്ചാൽ) വെണ്ടതില്ലേ vu. do you approve

തിന്നു വേണ്ടതിപ്പോൾ Vil. that's now the

II. വേണ്ട Neg. V. treated like വേണം
