used with the future tense of a verb; in which case the last ഉം of the
future is dropped or not: thus,
അവിടെ പറയത്തക്കവണ്ണം ഒന്നുമില്ല.
There is nothing there, worth speaking about.
ആ ക്ഷെത്രത്തിൽ കാണത്തക്ക വിശെഷം ഒന്നുമില്ല.
There is nothing particularly worth seeing in that Temple.
എന്നാൽ കഴിയും വണ്ണം ഞാൻ ശ്രമിക്കാം.
I will strive as much as possible.
5th. തക്കവണ്ണം and വണ്ണം, are used with past participles; as,
നൂറ പറ നെല്ല കിട്ടത്തക്കവണ്ണം ഞാൻ വിത്ത വിത
ച്ചിട്ടുണ്ട.
I have sown sufficient seed to obtain 100 parahs of paddy.
ഞാൻ വിചാരിച്ചവണ്ണം സാധിച്ചില്ല.
It was not effected according as I thought, (it would be.)
ആ കാൎയ്യം നാം കെട്ടവണ്ണമല്ല.
That business is not so as I heard it.
ഞാൻ പറഞ്ഞവണ്ണം അവൻ ചെയ്തില്ല.
He did not do as I told him.
6th. Some of these particles are used thus,
ഒരുത്തന്നും ഒത്ത പൊലെ ചെന്ന രാജാവിനെ കാണ്മാൻ
കഴികയില്ല.
No one can go when he pleases, to see the king.
അവൻ ഒത്തവണ്ണം ചെയ്യട്ടെ.
Let him do as he likes.
202. പറ്റി, and കുറിച്ച always require an accusative case; as,
ആ കാൎയ്യത്തെ പറ്റി ഒരു ആപത്തും വരിക ഇല്ല.
No danger will happen about that affair.
അവന്റെ അവസ്ഥയെ പറ്റി വല്ലവനും സംസാരി
ച്ചാൽ അവന്ന കൊപം വരും.
If any one speak to him about his state he will be angry.
എന്തിനെ കുറിച്ച താൻ സംസാരിക്കുന്നു.
What are you talking about.
ആ കാൎയ്യത്തെ കുറിച്ച അവർ അവനൊട അറിയിച്ചു.
They informed him of that matter.
