198. അകത്ത, is used thus,
അത പുരക്കകത്ത ഇരിപ്പുണ്ട. It is within the house.
വള്ളത്തിനകത്ത വെള്ളം ഉണ്ട.
There is water in the boat.
അവന്റെ വായ്ക്കകത്ത ദീനം ഉണ്ട.
He has a disease in his mouth.
199. പകരം, follows a Dative; thus,
അവർ നന്മെക്ക പകരം അവന്ന തിന്മ ചെയ്തു.
They rewarded him evil for good.
ഇനിക്ക പകരം അവൻ ഇത ചെയ്യും.
He will do this instead of me.
200. ആയ്ക്കൊണ്ട, is thus used with a Dative;
ഞാൻ കച്ചവടത്തിന്നായ്ക്കൊണ്ട ൧൦൦ പണം കടം വാ
ങ്ങിച്ചു.
I borrowed 100 fanams to trade with.
ഭക്ഷണത്തിന്നായ്ക്കൊണ്ട ഞാൻ അവനെ ക്ഷണിച്ചു.
I invited him to eat.
201. തക്ക, തക്കവണ്ണും, ഒത്ത, ഒത്തവണ്ണം, ഒത്ത പൊലെ.
These particles are used thus,
1st. With the Dative case; as,
ജഡുജി അവന്റെ കുറ്റത്തിന്ന തക്ക ശിക്ഷ അവന്ന
വിധിച്ചു.
The Judge sentenced him to a punishment suitable to his crime.
ആ ദിവാനിജി ൟ രാജാവിന്ന തക്ക മന്ത്രി ആകുന്നു.
That Dewan is a suitable minister for this Rajah.
അവൻ തന്റെ ശക്തിക്ക തക്കവണ്ണം വെല ചെയ്യും.
He will labour according to his strength.
ആ മനുഷ്യന്ന വണ്ണത്തിന്ന ഒത്ത നീളം ഉണ്ട.
That man is tall in proportion to his stoutness.
അവൻ തന്റെ സമ്പത്തിന്ന ഒത്ത പൊലെ ധൎമ്മം ചെ
യ്യുന്നുണ്ട.
He gives alms according to his ability.
