2nd. നടുവെ, is sometimes used thus,
അവൻ ൟ അപ്പം നടുവെ മുറിച്ചു.
He broke the bread in the middle; or, He divided this loaf into two
halves.
ആ മുണ്ട നടുവെ കീറിപൊയി.
That cloth is torn in two in the middle, or in into halves: according
to the English phrase.
3rd. നടുവെ, is sometimes declined in ഇൽ; as,
ആ മുണ്ട നടുവിൽ കീറി കിടക്കുന്നു.
That cloth is torn in the middle.
അവൻ അവരുടെ നടുവിൽ നിന്നു. He stood between them.
അവൻ ആ വള്ളത്തിന്റെ നടുവിൽ ഇരുന്നു.
He sat in the middle of that Boat.
ആറ്റിന്റെ നടുവിൽ ഒരു വൃക്ഷം നില്ക്കുന്നുണ്ട.
There is a tree standing in the middle of the river.
195. സമീപെ, സമീപത്ത. These particles are thus used,
എന്റെ വീട പള്ളിയുടെ സമീപെ തന്നെ ആകുന്നു.
My house is very near the church.
ക്ഷെത്രത്തിന്റെ സമീപത്ത ഒരു കുളം ഉണ്ട.
There is a tank near the temple.
ബുദ്ധിമാന്മാർ രാജാവിന്റെയും സൎപ്പത്തിന്റെയും തീ
യുടെയും സമീപത്ത പാൎക്കയില്ല.
Wise men will not dwell near a king, a serpent, nor a fire.
ആ തെരുവ നമ്മുടെ ഭവനത്തിന്ന സമീപെ ആകുന്നു.
That street is near my house.
196. ചുറ്റും. This particle requires a genitive or dative; as,
അവൻ തന്റെ പറമ്പിന ചുറ്റും ഒരു വെലി കെട്ടി.
He made a hedge round is field.
അവർ എന്റെ ചുറ്റും നിന്നു. They stood round about me.
197. വെണ്ടി. Follows a dative; thus,
താൻ ഇനിക്ക വെണ്ടി ഇത ചെയ്യെണം.
You must do this for me.
നീ ആൎക്ക വെണ്ടി ദെഹണ്ഡിക്കുന്നു?
For whom are you labouring?
