വെകുന്നു, ന്തു, വാൻ. v. n. 1. To burn, to be consumed by fire. 2. to seethe, to be boiling hot. 3. to be sultry, hot, warm. 4. to be cooked. 5. to become heated as any thing damp lying on a heap. 6. to spoil, to decay. 7. to decay or become rotten as timber. 8. to be decocted. വെക്കുന്നു, ച്ചു, പ്പാൻ. v. a. Unnecessary, not wanted, not required, needless. 2. im- proper, unfit. 3. wicked, evil. വെണ്ടാത്തരം, ത്തിന്റെ. s. Malevolence, wickedness, bad conduct, evil practice. വെണ്ടായ്ക, യുടെ. s. Needlessness, unnecessariness.
