അസാരൻ, ന്റെ. s, A mean person, a trifler. അല്പൻ.

അസാരം, &c. adj. Little; mean; worthless ; sapless,
dry. s. A trifle, a little.

അസാരസ്യം. adj, Unpleasant : unpalatabble. നീരസം.

അസി, യുടെ. s. A sword, a scymitar. വാൾ.

അസിക്നീ, യുടെ. s. A girl attending upon the women's
appartments, a young female servant. ദാസി.

അസിതൻ, ന്റെ. s. A name of the planet Saturn.

അസുപ്തം. adj. Watchful, wakeful, restless. ഉറക്കമി

അസുരഗണം, ത്തിന്റെ. s. A multitude of demons.
അസുരക്കൂട്ടം.

അസുരൻ, ന്റെ. s. 1. An Asur or demon. 2. a giant.

അസുര, യുടെ. s. 1. Night. 2. a zodiacal sign.

അസുരി, യുടെ. s. 1. Black mustard, Sinapis namosa,
കടുക. 2. the wife of an asur.

അസൂയ, യുടെ. s. Envy : jealousy; impatience at an-
other's prosperity or success; malice, malignity, hatred ;
detraction.

അസൂയക്കാരൻ, ന്റെ. s. One who is envious, jea-
lous, malignant, &c.

അസൂയപ്പെടുത്തുന്നു, ത്തി, വാൻ. v. a. To make en-
vious; to provoke to jealousy.

അസൂയപ്പെടുന്നു, ട്ടു, വാൻ. v. n. To be envious, to
be jealous; to be impatient at another's success.

അസൂക്ഷണം, ത്തിന്റെ. s. Disregard; disrespect;
contempt. നിന്ദ.

അസൃൿ, ിന്റെ. s. Blood. രക്തം.

അസൃക്കര, യുടെ. s. The juice, or essence of the body,
lymph, serum, &c. രസധാതു.

അസൃക്പൻ, ന്റെ. s. A Racshasa, or giant. രാക്ഷ

അസൌഖ്യം, ത്തിന്റെ. s 1. Restlessness; unquiet-
ness; uneasiness. 2. affliction ; sorrow; pain.

അസൌമ്യസ്വരൻ, ന്റെ. s. One who has a bad or
croaking voice. ക്രൂരശബ്ദനൻ.

അസൌമ്യാക്ഷം, ത്തിന്റെ. s. A fierce look.

അസ്ഖലിതം, &c. adj. Undeviating, unwavering, steady,
not slipping. ഇടൎച്ചയില്ലാത്തത.

അസ്തകം, ത്തിന്റെ. s. Beatitude, eternal felicity. മൊ
ക്ഷാനന്ദം.

അസ്തം, അസ്തമനപൎവതം, ത്തിന്റെ. s. 1. The wes-
tern mountain, behind which the sun is supposed to set.
2. destruction. നാശം adj. Thrown, cast, sent, dispatch-
ed; disappeared. അയക്കപ്പെട്ടത, നീക്കപ്പെട്ടത.

അസ്തമനം, ത്തിന്റെ. s. 1. Sunset. 2. disappearance,
setting, vanishing. 3. death.

അസ്തമാനം, ത്തിന്റെ. s. See the preceding.

അസ്തമിക്കുന്നു, ച്ചു, പ്പാൻ. v. n. 1. The sun to set.
2. to end, to disappear. 3. to die.

അസ്തശങ്കം. ind. Doubtless, fearless. അസംശയം.

അസ്തി. ind. Now being, existent, present. ഉണ്ട.

അസ്തിവാരം, ത്തിന്റെ. s. The foundation of an edi-
fice, or building.

അസ്തു. ind. Be it so, let it be, implying assent, also re-
luctance, and pain.

അസ്തുവാകുന്നു, യി, വാൻ. v. n. To be reduced to
nothing; to be impoverished.

അസ്തെയം. adj. Not stolen, or taken away. മൊഷ്ടി
ക്കപ്പെടാത്തത.

അസ്തൊകം. adj. Many, much. വളരെ.
