അഗജം, ത്തിന്റെ. s. The production of mountains,
trees.

അഗണിതം, &c. adj. Innumerable, incalculable.

അഗണ്യം, &c. adj. Incalculable, not to be calculated,
computed, or reckoned.

അഗണ്യത, യുടെ. s. Incalculableness, any thing not
to be computed.

അഗതി, യുടെ. s. 1. Poverty, indigence. 2. distress.
3. adversity. 4. a poor person, one without friends.

അഗതിത്വം, ത്തിന്റെ. s. 1. Poverty, indigence. 2.
distress.

അഗതിപ്പെടുത്തുന്നു, ത്തി, വാൻ. v. a.
അഗതിയാക്കുന്നു, ക്കി, വാൻ. v. a. to reduce
to great distress or poverty: to throw one into distress
or indigent circumstances.

അഗതിപ്പെടുന്നു, ട്ടു, വാൻ, v. n.
അഗതിയാകുന്നു, യി, വാൻ. v. n. To become poor
or indigent; to suffer distress; to fall into adverse circum-
stances.

അഗദം, ത്തിന്റെ. s. A medicine, a drug, a medica-
ment.

അഗദംകാരൻ, ന്റെ. s. A physician, a doctor.

അഗം, ത്തിന്റെ. s. 1. A mountain. 2. a tree. 3. the
sun. 4. a snake.

അഗമം, ത്തിന്റെ. s. 1. A tree. 2. a mountain.

അഗമ്യം, &c. adj. 1. Inaccessible. 2. impassible. 3. im-
penetrable.

അഗരു, വിന്റെ. s. A red kind of Sandal wood, Agal-
lochum.

അഗസ്ത്യൻ, ന്റെ. s. The name of a saint, celebrated
in Hindu mythology.

അഗാധം, ത്തിന്റെ. s. 1. Depth, abyss. 2. a hole, a
chasm. 3. abstruseness.

അഗാധം, &c. adj. 1. Very deep, unfathomable, bot-
tomless. 2. abstruse, അഗാധജലം. Very deep
water.

അഗാധഹൃദയം, ത്തിന്റെ. s. Depth, deepness.

അഗാധഹൃദയം, ത്തിന്റെ. s. Depth of mind or
heart, penetration.

അഗാരം, ത്തിന്റെ. s. A house, a habitation; a place
of residence.

അഗിരം, ത്തിന്റെ. s. 1. Fire. 2. the sun.

അഗീൎണ്ണം, ത്തിന്റെ. s. What cannot be swallowed.

അഗുണം, ത്തിന്റെ. s. Any thing destitute of good-
ness, or good quality.

അഗുപ്തം, &c. adj. Not hidden, open, manifest.

അഗുരു, വിന്റെ. s. A fragrant wood, aloe wood, or
agallochum.

അഗൊചരത്വം, ത്തിന്റെ. s. Incomprehensibility,
inconceivableness.

അഗൊചരം, &c. adj. Incomprehensible, inconceivable,
imperceptible; superior to human understanding.

അഗൊപനം, &c. adj. Not concealed, not protected.

അഗൊപനീയം, &c. adj. Inconcealable.

അഗൌകസ്സം. s. 1. A bird. 2. a lion. 3. a monkey.
4. a tiger.

അഗൗരം, ത്തിന്റെ. s. 1. Impurity. 2. what is not
white, or clear. 3. mildness.

അഗൌരവം, &c. adj. Disreputable, base.

അഗ്നി, യുടെ. 1. Fire. 2. the element or god of fire.
3. a medicinal plant, Plumbago zeylanica, or Plumbago
rosca, the former bears a white, the latter a scarlet flower.
4. the marking nut plant, semecarpus anacardium.

അഗ്നികണം, ത്തിന്റെ. s. A spark of fire.

അഗ്നികത്തുന്നു, ത്തി, വാൻ. v. n. The fire to kindle.

അഗ്നികാൎയ്യം, ത്തിന്റെ. s. Exciting the sacrificial
fire with oblations of liquid butter.

അഗ്നികുണ്ഡം, ത്തിന്റെ. s. A furnace.

അഗ്നികൃത്ത. s. A worshipper of fire, one who has placed
or consecrated a sacrificial fire.

അഗ്നികെതനം, ത്തിന്റെ. s. A place where the sa-
crificial fire is kept.

അഗ്നികൊണം, ത്തിന്റെ. s. The south-east point,
over which the god of fire is supposed to preside.

അഗ്നിഗൎഭം, ത്തിന്റെ. s. 1. Crystal. 2. a plant.

അഗ്നിചയനം, ത്തിന്റെ. s. Placing and consecrat-
ing a sacrificial fire.

അഗ്നിചിൽ, ത്തിന്റെ. s. One who has placed or
consecrated a sacrificial fire; a worshipper of fire.

അഗ്നിചിത്ത. s. See the above.

അഗ്നിചിത്യ, യുടെ. s. Placing and consecrating a sa-
crificial fire.

അഗ്നിജ്വാല, യുടെ. s. 1. A flame of fire. 2. a plant
bearing red blossoms used by dyers, Lythrum fructicosum
and Grislea tomentosa.

അഗ്നിത്രയം. s. Three kinds of sacrificial fire.

അഗ്നിപ്രവെശം, ത്തിന്റെ. s. A woman's burning
herself, on the same funeral pile with the dead body of
her husband, &c. The act of throwing ones self into the
fire, performing a suttee. അഗ്നിപ്രവെശം ചെയ്യു
ന്നു, To perform self-immolation.

അഗ്നിബലം, ത്തിന്റെ. s. Digestion.
